Some of you may be confused by this, most of you may have thought this is carbonara but in fact it is just its twin brother. It is still the light creamy, cheesy pasta that you all know and love except with cream instead of eggs.

Paired with a lovely delicious fresh caught salmon it is a dish to make for your first date, for a special dinner, or just a treat for yourself. This meal is a special one, it is one that brings all your senses into life, giving you tongue a party that it will never forget.

How to Salmon the Alfredo?

Ingredients 

1.

Spaghetti

2.

1/2 Onion (Minced)

3.

2 Cloves Garlic (Minced)

4.

2 Cups Spinach

5.

50g Mushrooms

6.

Mixed Italian Herbs

7.

Choice of Cheese

Fresh Salmon Fillet

25ml Double Cream

1.

Gently salt your salmon with some salt and pepper

In a pan on medium high heat with some oil place your salmon SKIN side down (YES you want to get that skin extra KRISPEEE). Flip the salmon once the skin has become nice and golden brown and cook the salmon through.

In another pan add a little oil and bring it to medium heat, start to fry off your onions, garlic and mushrooms. Add the spinach in last and fry it all together.

Lower the heat to medium low and add in the CREAM CREAM (double cream) and a bit of your mixed Italiano herbs, along with a healthy grating of cheese.

Gently stir the sauce to combine, add salt and pepper to taste. 

6.

Add in your cooked pasta and toss to combine, making sure not a single pasta is left without that delicious sauce you have created. 

7.

Plate up with the salmon and enjoy the lovely meal.

Extra: Top this dish with some extra cheese, some parsley and make it super duper fancy so you can impress the hot date you are with.
