Soft fluffy, custardy, jiggly it is just a very soft piece of egg. Who in the world could ever hate this? It is silky smooth, savory and hidden underneath its soft exterior is a sweet savory layer of minced pork.
Not only is this dish super easy to make but it is super fun to play with. You can jiggle this little guy for daysss, let it go BOING BOING till it is all gone.
Ingredients
4 Eggs
1.5 Cups of Water
100g of Minced Pork
2tb of Light Soy Sauce
1/2tb of Sesame Seed Oil
1/2tb of Sugar
1ts of White Pepper
STEPS
In a bowl mince together 100g of mince pork with 1tb of light soy sauce, 1te of white pepper and a pinch of salt.
Bring out your egg cracking skills because you need to crack 4 eggs into a bowl.
Add in 1 cup of cooled boiled water (Yes boil water and let it cool down, sounds weird but it works better) and beat your eggs up till smooth and homogeneous.
Lay your mince meat evenly on a heat proof bowl and gently pour your egg mixture on top. You can sieve the mixture to get a smoother finish but it doesn't really matter.
Cover the top with some cling wrap and into a steamer for 15-20 minutes till the egg is fully cooked and JIGGLY.
Prepare a mixture of 1tb of light soy sauce, 1/2tb of sesame seed oil and a pinch of white pepper.
Carefully remove the egg from the steamer, remove the cling wrap and gently spoon the soy sauce mixture over the egg.
Enjoy it over a bowl of white rice and you got yourself a great meal.
OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED: Jiggle your egg and observe how smooth silky and bouncy it is.
