NOODLES WITH MINCED PORK


When the weather is too hot for soup noodles what do you turn to? Dry noodles, made from a blend of sweet and salty flavours warped around little bits of minced pork infused with mushroomy aromas a quick simple dish for any hot day.

Dry noodles are a lot easier and faster to cook than soup noodles too, so this makes for a quick time saving meal. Often paired with a bowl of white pepper soup and some veggies. It is a quick and healthy meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner.


Ingredients

  1. Noodles of Choice

  2. 500g of Minced Pork

  3. 1 White Onion

  4. 5 Cloves of Garlic

  5. 3tb of Light Soy Sauce

  6. 2tb of Dark Soy Sauce

  7. 1ts of Five Spice Powder

STEPS

  1. Bring out your sword and chop your onion and garlic into tiny little bits.

  2. In a wok or pan on high heat with a little tiny bit of oil add in your onions and let them fry till soft and fragrant.

  3. Add in your mince pork and continue to fry and break them apart till the pork is ALMOST fully cooked, then add in your garlic and continue to fry till the pork is FULLY COOKED.

  4. Lower the heat down to a medium low and add in 3tb of light soy sauce, 2tb of dark soy sauce, and 1ts of five spice powder. Give it a good mix together.

  5. Add in about 1/4 cup of water and let the mixture simmer away till a THICCCC sauce forms.

  6. Taste and season with salt if its too bland.

  7. Add your lovely sauce over a bowl of freshly boiled noodles along with your choice of veggie and you got yourself a quick, easy, delicious bowl of noodles.
