  4. Chili

  5. 4 Stalks of Spring Onion

  6. 2tb of Sesame Seeds

  7. 1/2 Cup Light Soy Sauce

  8. 2tb Honey

STEPS

  1. Begin by peeling and mincing 6 cloves of garlic.

  2. Peel and mince 1 white onion.

  3. Chunk up 4 stalks of spring onion into pieces and slice up your chili (add as much or as little as you want, adjust to your spice level)

  4. In a large bowl add in your chopped up aromatics along with 1/2 a cup of light soy sauce, 2tb of honey, 2tb of sesame seeds and mix well.

  5. Set a pot of water to a bare simmer and set 12 eggs to boil for 6-7 minutes to get that yummy just cooked yolk.

  6. Shock in an ice bath, peel and drop them into your marinate. Cover with cling film and set in the fridge for 2 hours or longer (I usually set mine for 24 hours).

  7. After patiently waiting, cut open your eggs to reveal that perfectly cooked center and enjoy over some rice or as it is.

Make sure to drizzle some of that extra marinate over your rice and the egg for that extra umami KICK! HAPPY COOKING! Happy Cooking
