Ingredients

  1. 1 Cup of Kimchi

  2. 1tb of Gochujang

  3. 2te of Sesame Seed Oil

  4. 250g of Minced Pork

  5. 4 Cups of Overnight Rice

  6. 1 Onion Minced

  7. 1 Carrot Minced

  8. Spring Onion


STEPS

  1. Begin mincing up 1 whole onion into tiny bits.

  2. Peal and mince up 1 whole carrot.

  3. If your kimchi is in huge chunks give them a rough chop.

  4. Add the chopped kimchi into a pan on medium heat and give it a good fry. This helps elevate the flavours and introduce a little smokiness.

  5. In your favourite wok add in some oil on high heat and start to fry up your onions till fragrant and translucent.

  6. Add in your minced pork and break it a part. Once the minced pork is cooked add in your carrots and fry it for another minute.

  7. Add in 1 tb of gochujang and stir well. Add in your fried kimchi and some kimchi juice. This helps fortify the kimchi flavour.

  8. Add in 4 cups of dry over night rice and stir well. Season with salt and 2 tea spoons of sesame seed oil and you are done.

  9. Finely chop up some spring onions to give the dish some freshness.


Extra: Fry up a sunny side egg, and top with sesame seeds and seaweed. Happy Cooking
