CRAB RICE BALLS



Ever craving a quick and easy bite? What about a bite that you can make in 15 minutes or less and take it with you as you head on out? Well this dish is perfect for those who are looking for something easy, quick and delcious. Crab rice balls is an adaptation of the famous onigiri but instead of having a shell of rice you would have your ingredients mashed into and weaved in and out so you will get filling in each and every bite. Here we used some imitation crab along with some spring onions and seaweed to create these little nuggets of gold.


Ingredients

  1. 2 Cups Sushi Rice

  2. 4 Imitation Crab Sticks

  3. 1 Spring Onion

  4. Roasted Seaweed

  5. 2tb Mayonnaise

  6. 1ts Sesame Seed Oil

  7. 1ts White Pepper


STEPS

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add in 2 cups of freshly cooked rice.

  2. With 2 forks gently tear a part your imitation crab sticks or actual crab if you are feeling fancy.

  3. Finely chop up 1 spring onion.

  4. In the mixing bowl, add in your crab, spring onion, 2tb of mayonnaise, 1ts of sesame seed oil, 1ts of white pepper and with your clean or gloved hands crush some roasted seaweed into the bowl.

  5. With your clean or gloved hands or a spoon give the whole mixture a mix.

  6. This is good to go as it is, but to make it more fun using your again clean or gloved hands make them into cute little bite sized balls and you are good to go.
