CHILI STIR FRIED PORK BELLY


What is a meal without a little kick of spice? What is a meal without a little bit of heat? A little spice here and there never hurt anyone, except for maybe those who can't handle spicy food. This quick little stir fry is sure to get you filled up and happy.

The beauty of this dish is that you can add in whatever you want, you can add in fish cake, beef, chicken, any vegetable you want. With a little bit of help from a famous chili oil brand this dish is sure to be super tasty and cooked within minutes, for a quick and easy meal.


Ingredients

  1. 300g Pork Belly

  2. 1 Onion

  3. 3 Cloves of Garlic

  4. 1 Green Bell Pepper

  5. 1.5tb Dark Soy Sauce

  6. 1ts Sugar

  7. 1tb Lao Gan Ma Chili Oil

  8. Spring Onion

  9. 2tb Shao Xing Wine


STEPS

  1. Begin by pealing and quartering 1 onion and mincing 3 cloves of garlic.

  2. Chop your bell pepper into bite size pieces and mince your spring onions.

  3. Cut your pork belly as thin as possible, this makes it tender and allows it to absorb all the lovely flavours.

  4. In a wok or pan heat it up with some oil to HIGH heat.

  5. Once hot add in your onions, garlic and the white bits of your spring onion. Give it a good fry and smell the aroma coming off it.

  6. Add in your pork belly and give it a good fry till it is almost cooked, then add in your bell peppers and continue to fry for another 2-3 minutes.

  7. Add in 1 tablespoon of Lao Gan Ma Chili oil or more if you want it spicier, 1.5tb of dark soy sauce, 1ts of sugar and 2tb of shao xing wine.

  8. Give it a good mix together and let it cook for another 3-5 minutes. Serve up with some rice and enjoy.
