What is Korea without Kimchi? It is a staple in many of their traditional dishes, it is so common to find it in all their meals as a side dish. It is usually made out of Napa cabbage, radish, some carrots and fused together with the red hot chili flake known as Gochugaru.

Here we learn the most basic kimchi, it is a great introduction to fermentation and a great dish to make for any meal. So get your jars out and clear out a shelf because your whole kitchen is going to smell like kimchi soon.
Garlic Shrimp Spaghetti
There is just something so sinful and so tasty about butter, garlic and fresh shrimps. The aromatic flavours of a simple clove of garlic, infused into rich creamy butter, running throughout a plump delicate shrimp, it is just mouth watering from start to finish.

With only 15 minutes you can whip up a quick and simple, fragrant and a very tasty meal. Perfect for people who are looking for a quick meal but do not want a simple sandwich or cold pasta. Topped with some fresh parsley and a little heat from chili flakes it is sure to be a fulfilling and yummy meal.
Shrimp, Garlic and Bliss

If your shrimps aren't peeled and deveined yet do peel and devein your shrimps.

Set your pasta to boil and let it boil for a minute less than what is prescribed on the packaging.

While your pasta is boiling, time to peel and mince up 4 cloves of garlic. Feel free to add more if you want an extra garlicy meal.
Ingredients

Spaghetti

300g Shrimps

1tb Olive Oil
4.
1tb Butter
5.
1ts Chili Flakes

4 Cloves Garlic
7.
1 Small Lemon

Fresh Parsley

In a large pan add in 1tb of olive oil along with 1tb of butter and turn up the heat to medium.

Once the butter has fully melted and your whole kitchen just smells heavenly add in your chopped garlic and 1ts of chili flakes, do add more if you want it spicier.

Fry it till your whole kitchen smells amazingly fragrant then add in your shrimps and give it a quick fry till they just turned pink.

Add in the zest of 1 small lemon and the juice of half of it.

Once the pasta is done add your pasta into the pan with some pasta water and give the whole thing a good mix together. This creates a nice emulsion, giving you a garlic butter sauce for your little pasta dish.

Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve up with some freshly chopped parsley on top.
Enjoyed well with a side of salad and maybe a glass of white wine depending on your time of day.
