What is Korea without Kimchi? It is a staple in many of their traditional dishes, it is so common to find it in all their meals as a side dish. It is usually made out of Napa cabbage, radish, some carrots and fused together with the red hot chili flake known as Gochugaru.

Cinnamon Swirl Pancake

In a bowl mash mix together 1 cup of flour, 2ts of baking powder, 1tbs of sugar and 1ts of salt till well combined.

Make a well down the center and crack in an egg and pour in 1 cup of whole milk.
Ingredients

1 Cup Flour (All Purpose)

1 Cup Whole Milk

1 Egg

2ts Baking Powder

1tb Sugar
6.
1ts Salt

3tb Brown Sugar
8.
3tb Unsalted Butter
9.
2te Cinnamon Powder

Whisk together till just combined and homogeneous. DO NOT OVER MIX. If not you will have a very tough pancake.

In a separate bowl combine together 3tb of brown sugar, 3tb of softened unsalted butter and 2te of cinnamon powder till well combined. Place it into a piping bag or into a zip lock bag and snip off a small corner.

Heat up a pan or a griddle to medium heat, add in a bit of oil and spoon in about a 1/4 cup of the mixture.

Once you see bubbles start to form with your piping bag begin to pipe in your cinnamon mixture pushing in slightly into the pancake to leave a swirl.

Once done flip and let it cook for another minute or 2.

Serve up a tall stack with your favorite toppings and enjoy a good breakfast early in the morning, ready to start your day RIGHT.
